With funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Altwasul for Human Development has launched the Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI) Support Project targeting the most vulnerable protracted displaced families in Lodar and Zinjibar districts, Abyan Governorate.
The project aims to improve living conditions and enhance the resilience of affected families through the distribution of 200 NFI kits, 200 energy kits, 200 shelter repair kits, and 42 emergency shelter kits, benefiting a total of 400 displaced families.

As part of the "Enhanced Water Resource Management in IDP Communities" Project in Marib City and Marib Al-Wadi districts of Marib Governorate, the project team, at Al-Twasul for Human Development, is carrying out an agricultural needs assessment among targeted farmers using household survey, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs) 

The project aims to equip 200 young people with practical skills in agriculture and livelihoods, providing them with professional toolkits to launch their own agricultural initiatives. In addition, it aims to strengthen the capacities of 400 farmers in entrepreneurship, enabling them to access and expand markets, improve productivity, and increase financial returns 

This project is funded by the German Bank for Development (KfW), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and implemented by Altwasul for Human Development

In accordance with the words of the Prophet "Whoever provides Iftar for a fasting person will receive a reward equal to theirs" and inspired by the spirit of generosity and compassion during the blessed month of Ramadan, #Altwasul_for_Human_Development implemented Iftar Project for the year 1446 AH – 2025 with .funding from the State of Kuwait. The project aimed to support poor and vulnerable families, as well as those who have lost their breadwinner in different Yemeni governorates. As part of this effort, 350 ready-made Iftar meals and 4,763 food baskets were distribute.

Altwasul for Human Development signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, represented by Minister Salem Abdullah Alsocotri, to implement the Economic Empowerment and Food Security Project for small-scale farmers. The project includes the distribution of hand tractors in Socotra Governorate, with funding from the International Islamic Charity Organization in Kuwait.

Altwasul for Human Development foundation inaugurated a project to drill two wells with a depth of 30 meters and operate them with a solar energy system in Shuqrah - Abyan Governorate. The project also includes the installation of a 2000-meter-long water network. It will benefit over 30,000 residents of Shuqrah. It was funded by International Islamic Charity Organization in Kuwait.

In conjunction with the eight Yemeni Accountant's Day, the Yemeni Accountants Syndicate and the Consultants Center for Financial, Accounting, and Administrative Services honored Mr. Hamza Suliman, Director of the Audit and Compliance Department at Altwasul for Human Development Foundation, on the occasion of receiving the Certificate of Accounting Ambassador in the Civil Society Organizations sector for the second level.
 He received this honor after meeting the standards set by the accredited judging panel of the Yemeni Accountants Syndicate.

Dr. Mohammed Saeed Alzaouri, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor reviewed the set of developmental projects that Altwasul for Human Development Foundation will implement in the coming period.

During the meeting, the Minister Alzaouri received a detailed explanation from Mr. Raed Ebrahim, the CEO of Altwasul about the most important projects that the foundation will implement, including the construction of a health center and the digging of a well at Taor Albaha Hospital, in addition to the project of building the university city in Lahij Governorate.
Also, he received a copy of the final report on the outcomes of the Sustainability Forum 2024, which was organized by Altwasul last August.

The Minister praised the quality of the projects being implemented by Altwasul as sustainable development projects, which the ministry encourages institutions and organizations to adopt.

 The Major General Ahmed Abdullah Turki, the Governor of Lahij, inaugurated Um Jassim Health Center in Tuban district. Funded by Hamoud Mohammed Nasser Alshahri, under the supervision of Rahma International Society and implemented by Altwasul for Human Development, the project aims to enhance healthcare services in the region by providing comprehensive medical facilities, including several clinics such as pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, a malnutrition clinic, family planning, and vaccination, in addition to a temporary ward, a laboratory, and a pharmacy. The center will serve more than 40,000 people.

Altwasul for Human Development inaugurates Alayoub Medical Center (2) in Zungubar, Abin Governorate. The project involves the establishment and equipping of a medical center with the latest medical equipment to provide comprehensive health services for mothers and children, funded by benefactors from Kuwait under supervision of Rahma international Society. The center consists of a children's clinic, malnutrition treatment, vaccination, family planning, obstetrics & Gynecology and providing obstetric services and treatments. It is also equipped with a laboratory, an administrative room, a pharmacy, and a storage room. This project will cover the health needs of over 40,000 people.

With funded from a third of the deceased\ Mohammed Mullah Hussein Altarkit under the supervision of the Zakat House in Kuwait, Altwasul_for_Human_Development inaugurates Tarkit Medical Center in the city of Tarim - Hadramout Governorate. The center has been constructed, furnished, and equipped with latest medical facilities. It comprises 8 clinics including: pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, vaccination room, malnutrition, internal medicine, family planning, emergency services and storage. Additionally, a laboratory and pharmacy were equipped. The project will benefit 30,000 individuals. It was carried out in coordination with local authorities and the Public and population office.

Response to the appeal issued by the Executive Unit for Relief of displaced persons affected by floods and rains, Altwasul for Human Development has contributed to meeting the needs of the affected individuals in Jawalnaseem West camp by implementing an urgent relief project consisting of 100 food baskets, 100 shelter bags, and kitchen utensils to address their basic needs in the difficult circumstances.

On the seventh day of the Sustainability Forum, a dialogue forum was held for civil society organizations, hosted by Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor work , Mr. Saeed Hersi, Deputy Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Mr. Stephen, Country Director of the International Solidarity Organization, Ms. Catherine Vizcaino, Humanitarian Affairs Advisor in International NGOs, and Ms. Farah, Partnerships and Grants Coordinator at the International Solidarity Organization.
