As part of the project “Enhanced Water Resource Management in IDP Communities”, implemented by Altwasul for Human Development in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and funded by the German Development Bank KfW, the training program for 600 farmers from Al-Madina and Al-Wadi districts in Marib continues, aiming to enhance their production capacity and economic opportunities
The project includes two key components
🌱 1. Training 200 farmers in modern agricultural techniques
The training combines theoretical and practical sessions, followed by the distribution of comprehensive agricultural toolkits that enable farmers to immediately apply the skills they have gained
💼 2. Training 400 farmers in agricultural entrepreneurship
This component aims to strengthen farmers’ skills in managing income-generating small businesses, and improving agricultural production and marketing.
This project reflects Altwasul’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and empowering farmers to achieve sustainable livelihoods
