Within the framework of the Project: Enhancing Water Resource Management in IDP Communities,
funded by the German Development Bank (KfW) and implemented in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM),
Altwasul for Human Development today carried out the distribution of Agricultural Empowerment Kits to 200 male and female farmers in Marib Governorate.
This followed their participation in intensive theoretical and practical training sessions on best agricultural practices aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing water waste.
The Agricultural Start up Kits includes:
A 1,000-liter water tank
A spraying motor, seeds and agricultural tools
