As part of our humanitarian health-sector interventions, and with the generous funding of the State of Kuwait, Altwasul for Human Development supported the Dialysis Center in Modiyah District, Abyan Governorate, by providing a water desalination unit with a production capacity of 1,400 liters per hour, in addition to a hemodialysis machine. This support aims to enhance the center’s operational capacity and improve the quality of services delivered to patients with renal failure.

This intervention was implemented in response to the urgent needs of patients and the appeal submitted by the center’s management, and as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support critical health facilities, ensure the continuity of life-saving services, and alleviate the suffering of renal failure patients amid the current challenges.
