Twasul for Human Development organized a Ramadan forum bringing together humanitarian and development organizations in Aden Governorate, with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, represented by Deputy Minister Dr. Sadiq Al-Jamaei, along with a number of civil society leaders and representatives.

The forum aimed to strengthen coordination and collaboration between humanitarian and development organizations and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, while providing a platform for exchanging experiences and perspectives to further enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian and development efforts in serving communities.

During the event, the President of Twasul for Human Development, Mr. Raed Ibrahim, emphasized that the Ramadan forum reflects the organization’s commitment to fostering partnership and communication between civil society organizations and government institutions working in the humanitarian and development sectors. He noted that such gatherings contribute to strengthening relationships, promoting knowledge exchange, and enhancing the impact of charitable and humanitarian initiatives.

He also welcomed the presence of the Ministry’s leadership and representatives of humanitarian organizations, highlighting that effective collaboration between government entities and both local and international organizations remains a key pillar for advancing humanitarian action and addressing the social and economic challenges facing communities.

Mr. Ibrahim further expressed the organization’s aspiration to expand cooperation and partnerships in the coming period in order to support the development of humanitarian and charitable work and enhance its positive impact on people and communities.

For his part, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Sadiq Al-Jamaei commended the vital role played by civil society organizations in alleviating the suffering of citizens, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the efforts of associations and institutions and strengthening partnerships with them to advance humanitarian and development work and promote integrated efforts in serving society.
